Texas vs USC

Well last week worked out with little planning, so you know what to do. I imagine a bigger crowd, but rain is looking even more likely this weekend (we got lucky last week). I guess one question is which pit/grill is Chris bringing?

Hey!! Andy Tait will be tailgating along with his Cali cousins. (Both USC grads). Be nice! We were welcomed at their tailgate last September outside the Coliseum so we're inviting them here this year. So do we know the location yet? or we will know after Friday afternoon? Also, what's on the menu - what can I send with Andy (besides beer)?

The grill and the smoker are both available so I can bring either one.

Smoker? Just thinking someone might bring some larger cuts like pork loin or country style ribs (or actual ribs) and smoker is more versatile. Can still easily do sausage, fajita meat etc, no?

Taits, of course you and your douchbag Calli friends are welcome! Smoking

Map of spot is below. It's the circled grass area and whatever we secure in that parking lot on Friday afternoon.

Sorry for multiple posts but just separating out the topics....

I'm going to do a brisket over Friday night and Sat morning at the house. Will be ready to slice on site.

I've got 4 bags of chips and a loaf of bread left over but nothing to dip them in so dips are needed as always. Tortillas, condiments, desserts, snacks, etc.

Sounds good. Need to make sure it's there up to temp and smoking at a reasonable time!

Having said that, what time this week? Same as last in the 10am range?

I’m bringing 10 lbs of cooked tender loin, 3 Amigo sausage,
Tequila, Andy cactus Juice. Maybe should start earlier
Since it’ll be a big weekend.

I'll bring some kind of meat and I'll make some salsa since Allen won't be there. And I'll grab some tortillas.

Bringing some cookies and those pastries the CW brought
That lasted 5 minutes last week with all the vultures around.

I made some salsa too so we should have plenty of that. I'd say it went a bit past medium as Allen would say.
